San Francisco Japanese Tea Garden

The Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco is an amazing place and is the oldest public Japanese garden in the US. It is in the heart of Golden State Park and allows for you to take in the beauty of nature. From the moment I walked towards the entrance door I feel in love. A place that marries the aspect of architectural design and nature.

My fiancé and I enjoyed walking through all the majestic paths. There was even a tucked away space that was so tranquil we both did not want to leave the bench we were sitting on. It was as if everything around us was standing still and as we looked above the tallest tree is where we could hear the wind swirling by.  All I can say is absolutely breath-taking.

San Francisco Botanical Garden

This place is majestic and an absolute gem. I visited San Francisco this past weekend and though my stay could have been longer I made sure to visit this place. The San Francisco Botanical Garden is located within the Golden Gate Park, which is amazing in itself. The Botanical Garden is 55 acres of amazing plants and beautifully blooming flowers from all over the world. You will find huge Redwood trees, a beautiful succlent garden and much, much more. It is truly refreshing and a great place to take a stroll or just mediate. Here are some of the beauties I was able to capture. image image image image
